UCN Committee Day at Frognerparken

UCN committee day

It was a beautiful and memorable day as the Uganda Cranes Norway (UCN) committee came together at Frognerparken for a special gathering filled with laughter, appreciation, and community spirit.

The day was marked by a relaxed and joyful atmosphere as members shared food, grilled together, and enjoyed each other’s company in one of Oslo’s most iconic parks. But beyond the sunshine and smiles, this day carried a deeper meaning — it was dedicated to celebrating someone truly special to UCN.

We gathered to honor Jesca, our former UCN Secretary, whose dedication and commitment have left a lasting impact on the organization and the wider community.

Jesca has been an incredible pillar of support throughout her time with UCN. She was always present, always dependable, and always willing to help — no matter the situation. Whether it was organizing, coordinating, or simply showing up when needed, Jesca never said no. Her consistency, humility, and genuine care for others made her an invaluable part of the team.

Because of her unwavering dedication, the committee felt it was only right to set aside this day in her honor — a small gesture to recognize the big difference she has made.

As we shared stories, laughter, and appreciation, it was clear that Jesca’s contribution goes far beyond her role. She helped strengthen not just the organization, but the sense of unity and belonging within the UCN community.

We are deeply grateful for everything she has done and continues to inspire.

Thank you, Jesca — your impact will always be part of UCN.
